SpureX®_Rose 01C is a full spectrum lipophilic crude extract obtained by pure supercritical CO₂ extraction without any ethanol or organic cosolvent. Grown in Yunnan’s high altitude sun rich rose planting belt, our Damask rose petals develop rich terpene alcohols, lipophilic flavonoids and natural wax esters. Unlike mainstream steam distilled rose oil or hexane extracted rose absolute, our low-temperature oxygen free CO₂ process preserves both volatile aroma molecules AND heat sensitive nonvolatile skin beneficial phyto compounds, delivering true to natural rose character for clean beauty, luxury skincare and fine fragrance formulations.

Large scale commercial Rosa damascena plantations in Dali, Yunnan, cultivated at 1500–2500 m altitude terraces with >3200 hours annual sunshine and large diurnal temperature swings. This high altitude environment boosts accumulation of terpenoid alcohols, lipophilic flavonoids and aromatic precursors, forming a stable bulk supply base for cosmetic grade supercritical processing. The annual harvesting window is limited to 40 days from mid-April to mid-May each year.
Petals are strictly hand picked between 05:00–09:00 in cool early mornings before solar radiation volatilizes fragile aroma constituents; rain wet blossoms are rejected to avoid enzymatic degradation. Fresh petals are transported to processing facilities within 4 hours post-harvest.
For pure CO₂ extraction, petals undergo low temperature dehydration under 35–42 °C drying temperature and 45–55 % relative humidity, precisely adjusting final moisture to 8–10 %, protecting heat-labile fragrance and lipophilic skin active compounds. Dried petal yield reaches approximately 22–26 % from starting fresh rose weight. Purified dried petals are crushed and sieved to 20–40 mesh particle size, preventing material caking inside extractor vessels.

Recommended Formulation & Application
Recommend dosage in finished cosmetic:
- Leave-on products (facial oil, face serum, body oil, luxury cream): 0.05 – 0.8 % w/w
- Rinse-off products (shower gel, bath oil, shampoo, body wash): 0.1 – 1.5 % w/w
Not recommended for lip formulations or direct undiluted eye area application.

Formulation tips: Material is waxy paste at room temperature; gently heat to 40–45 °C to obtain free flowing liquid before weighing / mixing. Fully compatible with plant oils, triglycerides, lipophilic cosmetic emollients. If adding into aqueous phase, use suitable solubilizer system. For long term stock storage in finished formulas, minimise exposure to heat, air and light; nitrogen blanketing is preferred.
